I'm a retired soldier, Australian Army, with 28 years service and an aversion to BS in any form. I respect those I come into contact with and am prepared to meet most persons with friendship - until such respect proves to be undeserved. I consider myself a good friend and I value reliability.

I enjoy prospecting, bush navigation, kayaking on our local rivers and lakes, and I try to stay fit by bushwalking and cycling in the ironbark forests which surround our small township. I'm now retired from the Australian Defence Force (since '97) and occupy my time, when not engaged in the abovementioned pursuits, as a writer of magazine articles and occasional short fiction. A novel is underway.
