  1. Thanks Chuck I did have to travel but only for an hour on 99 and man O man was that a pain people racing to get to there destinations without a care in the world for the lives of others or themselves, flow of traffic was 80 but i was getting passed like I was sitting still, if they only knew what it was like to lose control of a car at those speeds they'd have more respect. grub it dont matter who's in the white house anymore they ALL have there special interests and are going to screw us any way they can to get what they want, bsh did it too look at this whole mess he allowed to happen for 8 years and I am a republican but Im not blind either....
  2. Wonder what the big gold in that spot looked like ? have you started getting down under that ground deeper yet ?
  3. Stay alive another year Gary have a feeling will be doing a lot more detecting in the near future
  4. Good one chuck. I have one good example of how to live a good life , my grandmother is 90 and still very active with her church running a few things there , playing in her garden growing vegetables, she still drives though I think that will end very soon she's gotten very frail now but she's actually really mellowed out in her years and still laughs a lot and enjoys her life, I think i'll give her a call this evening.
  5. Our family just put my brother in law to rest, 52 years old died from liver cancer it took 1 month from the day they found it for it to kill him, he was brave and never whimpered one damn time . He's leaving behind my sister 44 and there 2-1/2 year old daughter ( the miracle baby ) that was the real hard part for him. His honor and gratitude was unbelievable especially leaving behind so damn much it worried him deeply how those girls would do without him and our family will pull together and help thats all we can do. Hang in there Gary someone always has it worse.

  12. As many of you are already aware, Senate Bill 670 (anti-suction dredging legislation) was overwhelmingly passed by the California Senate several days ago. The bill will now go to the California Assembly. Our staggering defeat in the Senate has placed our lobbyists into a full regroup mode. All of this legislative activity (which will affect future dredging seasons) is happening under the darker cloud of ongoing litigation against suction dredging (which could have an impact upon our present season) in California. Our adversaries have filed a Motion asking the Court to prevent the Department of Fish & Game "from spending any funds allocated from the State of California's General Fund on any activities which allow suction dredging to occur under the Department's current regulations." This Motion will be heard by the Court in less than 2 weeks! We are fighting the biggest, hardest battles our industry has ever faced. You guys have always been there to help in the past. Now we need you more than ever! I have explained all of the important details, which include updated explanations from our lead attorney and main lobbyist; and I am now asking for your help. This is all contained in our latest Action Alert -- which can be found at: MORE DETAILS PLEASE LOOK We need your help on this more than ever. Thanks very much for whatever you can do! Sincerely, Dave Mack, President New 49'er Prospecting Association The New 49er's, 27 Davis Road, Happy Camp, California 96039, USA
