I knew there was a reason that Steve Herschbach moved closer to the hydraulic and sluice sites in California..... That photo reminds me of when they were swinging coil out in Liberty, Washington at the Potato Patch... (a write up about it is in the ICMJ's Prospecting and Mining Journal.Washington State miners recover several nuggets, including one weighing in at over 16 ounces, at the Potato Patch Mine near Liberty, Washington.
