Miner Matt
Went out today with Vini,Joe,Kyle and Cooter. I took my XLT to see if I could find a coin or two what a surprise when I dug two in one hole. Dug the dime 1876 first then came back later and swung the detector over the same hole and out came the large cent 1833:o Took all of us blind people to decide what the date was. We were convinced when the kid told us(Kyle)This is my oldest coin to date!!!!!!!

How about more of the story. Great finds. Take care.Cheers,Matt
dutch john
Gosh... what a great find... Some early '49er likely lost his"snap-purse." His "poke." Hunt the area for possible othercoins... maybe one will be gold...
Cooter9761
Matt, we were in an old Motherload ghost town. Matt got the two coins. I found 1 nugget( 17. grains) and Vini got some color and a old (Japanese) coin. I dont know what Joe got, I think it was the skunk!
