  1. Hey Guys, It's been awhile since I done a video, so here you go. I have a bunch more I need to upload, it just take time ..... The nugget actually weighted almost 4 Dwt's, just shy of 1/4 ounce. It was found with the Minelab GPZ 7000 metal detector.
  2. Hello All, Here is an old video I found back around 2014-15. I was using the Minelab GPZ 7000 metal detector, working a small ravine where I found many ounces of gold throughout the prior years. This was one ravine or wash where I always brought the next best detector to give it a whirl. For at least 10 years, I have been able to return back to this spot and find a few pieces deeper that were missed. It's a hard spot to work at least with larger coils, as the ravine or wash is loaded with large cobbles. This particular day using the GPZ 7000, I managed only a few targets, but
  3. Here is the picture below of the great looking piece. Always nice to see some large Arizona gold. I heard around Dolan Springs area, but not 100% certain. Others guys might have heard rumors or know the general area better.
  4. Hello All, Today a partner and I managed to hit a few patches at Rich Hill. I was able to snag 4 small ones out of a 10 foot area. My partner found a nice water worn 4 Dwt piece in the lower portion of the patch. Pictured below you will see where I snagged the 4 smaller ones using the Coiltek Joey DD Pro. All the nuggets were between larger rocks or hiding under brush. It's still out there .... Rob Allison
  5. Hello All, A few weeks ago I was out exploring and filmed 3 short videos on mining camps (potentially placer and lode). I will post them later tonight. That being said, just curious if anyone else has used old Mining camps to find small placers, mines or prospects? In most gold bearing areas, if anyone stuck around and sampled long enough there will be some signs (big or small) of camps. Sometimes these camps can be found in the middle of nowhere and can be worth searching around them to see what the old-timers might have been looking for. Over the years I have used these camps to loca
  6. Hello All, This weekend a partner and I conducted field instructions for two new Minelab GPX-5000 customers. One customer was from the Phoenix area, other drove down from Lake Havasu City. After going over the detector and settings, both customers were out detecting. At the end of the day, Marvin from the Phoenix area ended up with two nuggets shown below. Chip & his wife didn't get lucky, but they had a great time. Thank you both for your business. Don't hesitate to get a hold of me if you have any questions. Sunday, my partner and I hit a new area not too far away. Within a few
