  1. Hello All, Here in this video a partner and I have been working (placer mining) a dry creek bed for gold nuggets. This process including digging down, raking and metal detecting the paylayer and bedrock for detectable gold nuggets. We were using the Minelab Gold Monster 1000, Minelab GPZ 7000 & Garrett AT Pinpointer along with various hand tools for digging. We dug a lot of old rubbish, not shown in the videos to preserve time and boredom This is part 1 of the entire video, the second part will be up soon. 2. Hello All, This weekend three customers (Grandfather, Father and Son) from California came over to get field instructions on their new metal detectors. They purchased the Minelab GPZ 7000 and Gold Monster 1000. We spent the entire day doing instructions, metal detecting for nuggets and a lot of hiking and exploring around. The weather and company was great! We were to get both detectors over a gold nuggets before the day ended. The GPZ 7000 found a nice 1-2 Grammer under an old tree that was growing out from the wash bottom and the Gold Monster 1000 nailed a smaller, probably
  3. Hello All, Well I was able to get out for a few hours with my Daughter. We dug a bunch of rubbish with the Minelab Gold Monster and GPZ 7000. Towards the end of the day, I finally scored a very nice 1/3 ounce gold nugget. It weighed in at 7.8 Dwt's. I was pretty excited since it's been months since I have really been out metal detecting. Wishing you all a success hunt. Rob

  5. Hello All, Ronnie, owner of DetectorPro and Gold Diggers Metal Detecting is considering building these new Gray Ghost "Gold Series" headphones for the Minelab Gold Monster 1000. As many know, the stock ML headphones are just mid line and the cord is way too short in my opinion. I have about ripped it off several times as it's just too short and gets wrapped around the control box. These potentially new DetectorPro Gray Ghost's are great. They fit like all the other DetectorPro headphones, have great audio and even have a longer cord to eliminate the snagging like the stock he
  6. Hey Guys, I know I haven't been posting too much, just got so much going on here. I have been out with the Gold Monster and probably have 20-30 hours on it to date. I have found some nuggets with it also. At first it was very hard to get used to with no threshold. I never really hunted with a silent metal detector or ran no threshold. I guess I'm always wondering if it's working, so will scan over my boot or some metal item. Sensitivity is very good and it works great on moderate to high minerazation from what I have experienced. The unit is very lightweight and easy to us
