My detecting guru beat me to the nugget patch, but was kind enough to save me a couple targets after pulling more than a few himself. What a guy, cant ask for any more than that in a gold buddy. So the first target was barely audible on my GP3000 with a Platypus mono coil, it was a mere flake of rust about the size of a trout scale. The second target sent a nice crisp signal through the detector, this little 1.5 gram nugget was trapped in the bottom of a crack on bedrock.Huge thanks to my gold Bug guru for taking the time to show me a few more tricks on how to score gold with a detector!!!!
