Waterproof Or Sprinkle Proof

Recommended Posts

What I’m wondering if you could buy the same detector for less and it not being waterproof would you buy it? I’d say a hundred dollars less sounds good to me. Maybe for you it would have to be more but if you knew  you don’t have the need for waterproof detector then why would you want to pay more ? I understand you would have to be buying the same detector but just not waterproof.

I say that the waterproof detectors bought from 80 to 90 % never see water.

Like a lot of us we have a waterproof detectors and like what I got it will never see water but it’s the only way I could buy it.

Give me your opinion I’m waiting to hear what you have to say.

Hi Ridge Runner,

Good question, I'm not 100% sure what exactly goes into a waterproof detector vs. non beyond the connectors, box seals and such.  Many of the detectors today just come waterproof, even many of the gold detectors are starting to do this.
