Russ
Charlie, You mentioned co-authoring a paper on Riverside & San Bernardino counties(I also co-authored a treatise of California Mining history regarding work in Inyo, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties, for the BLM, including many portions destined for future wilderness designation).Do you have a copy of the treatise available or know where it might be available? I am one of the co-authors of Desert Fever, which is currently out-of-print. Email me at russhartill@lawyer.com for further info on how to obtain a copy of the information found in Desert Fever. Larry Vredenburgh did not have any claims in the Shadow Mountains, he was working for the BLM during the 1980s and still is. I had several marginal gold and silver prospects in the Halloran Hills in the 1980s. I recently came across the assay reports if anyone is interested.
