grubstake Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 Well my new friend, Gerry Edwards, the one that writes all the articles for Losttreasure mag. came over for a detecting outing this morning about 10 am, we hunted all day, until about 3 pm, I found lots of 50 cal. lead and 36 cal. ball rounds, there is 4000 untouched acs. to hunt on, we went to a place with lots of tailing piles, he use's Whites detectors exculsively and I was tring out the 3500, had the platypus on, lot of trash. I got skunked, he found some nice specimen gold. Tomarrow is my day, we are going out again. I'm tring to get use to the 3500, tring diferent settings, tomarrow I'm taking the Wallaby and stock 11 inch mono. Heres the pictures.
