apw5746
Hi All,Since Walco picks are no longer available because they either don't/won't supply to American markets or they went out of business, what is the best pick that is on the market today? I currently swing a GB2 and have a somewhat adequate pick, but in early June I will be swinging a Minelab SD2200V2 and don't believe my pick will stand up to the depth of targets the Minelab will detect. I understand super magnets are affixed to some picks and will pull trash out of the hole as I dig. Is that the best way to go or is there a better way. Thanks in advance to the views and replies.Pat
burta
Pat, you need to call Rob. He has a pick he gets from Doc and I think they still say you can't break it. I have one and I try to break it every day and haven't yet. Give em a call. AL
Admin nuggethunting Posted May 13, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Hey Pat, I have everything from very heavy duty picks to very lightweight ones. I have some picks also that are very close to the old Walco picks called "Pro-Gold" picks. I also have the Super Magnets that are very helpful when it comes to recovering small bits of iron rubbish and speeding up your recovery time. Give me a call or shoot me over an email.Talk with you later,Rob Allison
