Memorial Day

I would like everyone to take the time to stop and think and say a prayer for all those that gave their lives so all of us could live free and enjoy the freedoms we do. There are millions of people in other countries that only wish they could enjoy our freedoms, many try and fail but alot do make it here by the legal way. others illegally, that says alot about what our Military members have done for our Nation, FREEDOM. My dad lost his brother (my uncle) in Saipan, I lost 2 friends in Viet Nam and I know a few families that lost their sons in Iraq. Remember - Freedom isn't free, the service men & women that lost their lives made the ultimate sacrifice for us and we should never forget them and what they have done for us.

It is the soldier, not the reporter,

who has given us Freedom of Press.

It is the soldier, not the poet,

who has given us Freedom of Speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,

who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate.

It is the soldier, who salutes the flag,

who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag

that allows the protester to burn the flag.
