Azoverland
I keep reading about 50-50 land and how it is off limits to metal detecting. I have researched this but can't come up with anything? What is 50-50 land? Thanks for any info.
way2cool
The government owns 50% of the mineral rights and a private party owns the other 50%. Some people get hassled on the 50/50 land inGreaterville others don't.

grubstake
Thats the chance's that you are going to have your stuff confiscated, and go to jail, for being on it prospecting. Grubstake

Admin nuggethunting Posted March 8, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Hello, It's my understanding that 50/50 land you're able to metal detect on, or at least everyone has been for many ... many years. Some nice nuggets have been found on the 50/50 land down around the Greaterville area. Heck, I even have a few nice ones. A customer that I had out this weekend just got done staying down at Kentucky Camp for a month with a GPX5000. He was only able to get out a few times, as he spent more of his time helping the camp and events they have planned around the camp area. Take care,Rob Allison
