Azoverland
I don't like hunting alone, here's who I go hunting with when my son or friends can go out and I know when I find a new patch she won't tell a soul...... plus she is trained to stay away and let me know when there's a rattle snake or toad around, can run at about 30 mph, doesn't like bears, loves fishing and swimming and loves being out doors as much as I do. She is the close to the perfect hunting buddy.....and she's pretty.... Let's see your hunting buddy or just your dog. Any tips on K9 training or stories.....My first tip is rattle snake train you dog, my basset hound saved my son from being bit once, I tell the story later....... way2cool
Nice looking buddy. I usually bring my American bulldog. He's great at digging holes and lettingme know when someone is close by or too close to my vehicle.
Southside
Hi Az, I've been taking my Lab pup ( nine months old ) and he loves going detecting. Will probably have to stop when the rattlers come out. I'm teaching him the smell of gold and hoping he can pick up the scent of gold someday and lead me to nuggets, my wife isn't buying it. Shawn Satterfield
AZ,Beautiful dog. I agree that your dog is your best friend (I love me Lab). But it is still nice to have someone else along, in most cases. After all, if something did happen to you, your dog wouldn't be able to dial a phone for help or drive a vehicle to help. Just me thoughts...Shawn
bigguy
A guy is driving around Arkansas and he sees a sign in front of a house:TALKING DOG FOR SALE. He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a Labrador Retriever there."You talk?" he asks the dog. "Yes, I do," the Lab replies."So, what's your story?" The Lab looks up and says,"Well, I discovered I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years."But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't gettingany younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for an airport jobto do some undercover security wandering near suspicious characters andlistening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batchof medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."The guy is amazed. He rushes back and asks the owner how muchhe wants for the dog."Ten dollars," the owner says."Ten dollars? Holy crap, this dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?""Because he's a friggin liar. He never did any of that shit."Carl & Ophelia Porterwww.huntingdogtrainer.com760 885-1612530 990-4001Thanx, BIGGUY

When it's your time, it's your timePlus my dog doesn't sleep though a bear, coyote, or person coming into camp, most of my buddies do.....A well trained dog has a place in the wild.Yo - Bigguy funny joke - you use Tri-Troincs - they are still made right here in Tucson Here's a link to a cool blog - a man, a dog and a sidecar.http://theoasisofmysoul.com/
