LuckyLundy Posted July 29, 2011 Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 I've had a run of mishaps this Summer with Bear's in camp and in Robin's Camper and then my Favorite DetectorPro Black Widow Headphones. They took a little ride behind my quad running from one patch to another and didn't fair it well at all. I had to resort to the stock headphones that comes with our Minelab detectors for the rest of the little prospecting trip. The quality in sound right off the bat, I knew I was going to be missing some nuggets that just give you a little squeek. When I got home, I e-mailed DetectorPro about my mishap and Gary told me to send them in and we'll see what we can do for you! Wow, he replied the sameday and I had them in the mail heading their way within the hour...with my finger's crossed they could repair my headphones and the several pieces I picked up on the road, yes one was the speaker itself!!! Within the week, I received another e-mail from Gary asking if I'd like to have new ear pads, and that they fixed my Black Widow's. I called him up to thank him and to pay for the new ear pads and any other cost...No added cost, even for shipping! Well, they arrived via UPS and I'm back in action with confidence of hearing the little sqeeks. My Black Widow's aren't near new, a good handful of years old and Detector Pro came through with no questions asked...Thank You!Here's my last poke and starting my next this Weekend! They stand behind their products very well. And I am considering buying a new pair of Black Widows for myself and letting the wife take over my original pair. A couple weeks back, I thought I'd order a new pair of prospecting boots...well guess who got them a pair too! I have been doing business with Gary for almost 10 years now and he has taken care of any problems my customers or I have had in the past. DetectorPro headphones are the best I have used, ranging from the Gray Ghost, Nugget Busters and Black Widow's. Great to hear Gary took care of another great customer.
