dprys
I've been following you guys for a while now and must agree with Chris Coffee how helpful you all are. Living in Utah has been a real challenge for finding gold that's not locked up in some mountain. But I don't despair as I found my first "nugget" on the Little Sevier Creek a few weeks back. (Looks better under a magnifing glass. Thanks again, Don

rexb
I would recommend Amasa Valley if you have not already visited there, and if you're not too far, just over the border in NV there is the Osceola District with some potential for larger specimens and placer. I hear the Henry Mtns. are also worth a visit but it's quite a bit further for me to get there and I have not visited as of yet. Congrats on finding the gold, as you say, it is a challenge in UT when it comes to recreational placer mining.
Chrisman91
Congrats on the gold. Not quite enough to make a necklace out of, but it is a darn good start . Good luck in the future and happy hunting.
