wdu3164
I made my 1st trip to Galveston Island today to try out the Tesoro Sand Shark.I waded in the surf about 3' deep and found a Dime it seemed to be about 3 or 4 " deep (Hard to tell under water). I then ventured to the volley ball area. I found several coins, small pieces of metal, pull tabs ect. But I also found 3 small round pieces of what looks like brass, they look like Copper BBs cut in half but smaller. I couldnt believe that the detector picked up on them they were spread apart over 5' and were atleast 5-6" deep. I had a hard time finding them even with the Pro pointer when they were in my hand. It picked them up but I couldnt hardly see them. I also found half a pull tab down over 14" in dry sand.I am impressed with the deapth and sensitivity of this detector. Cant wait to get out again and learn it.Bill
