When any of us started detecting it was all about luck. We at first were like a hour glass in our quest to gain knowledge. The first grain of sand that fell to the bottom was us on our way to gain that knowledge. When all the sand has fallen to the bottom of the hour glass we are again the last grain of sand to fall but now at the top. Over the time it took we have been gaining knowledge some with the help others but we never stop seasoning it with a little luck. We see guys posting all the time here of the nuggets they found. I'd say most didn't have that much luck every time they went out at first. Lots have said it took a whole year before they found their first nugget. The true nugget hunter is the guy that didn't find something yesterday but today picks himself up and does it all over again. Maybe what it takes to be a true nugget hunter is Persistence Knowledge and Luck. Chuck Anders
