nvchris
Herb did it I added the legs. Like all detectors with the control box forward they benefit from this move to under the elbow. Carbon fiber upper and legs make this gold bug feel like a feather with perfect balance.

AUDuke
Looks like it would make it inconvenient to adjust the GB on the go ( some places the ground changes often ) and use the disc sw. Wouldn't work for me, lot of the time I need to keep my finger on the GB.
AZNuggetBob
I like your handle, and your strait shaft but not so sure about the legs. Here is a carbon shaft I built several years ago. All nylon, carbon fiber and plastic. I prefer hip mount especially with heavy coils. AzNuggetBob
nvchris
The handle is a stock ML no button. It has the option of mounting the box in front of the handgrip.it's no problem for me to work the knobs and switches with my off hand. The legs are a slip fit (removable) and may be a bit longer then needed.
