Roo Posted November 30, 2013 Report Share Posted November 30, 2013 Went out today and had a go on a hillside that I got some bits from a while ago. Got a real faint signal that sounded like ground noise. Half hearted one way and just a little bit better sweeping the other. Removed the topsoil, few inches, still the same, then a few inches of dirt and gravel, bit better, then into some orange clay. Few inches into this and it was a definite target, dropping tone. Im thinking, be deeper, be deeper, but after taking out another few inches it was out. A 9.4 g. Hot ground where I was and masks targets badly. Got 4 more smaller bits for a total of 13.3. Probably 12.5 cleaned up. Great day apart from battling the flies for my lunch. My back say's "that'll do for a week! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
