Looking for advice

I'm new to nuggethunting and plan to stay a month or two in Northern Nevada and learn something about the desert and gold. I have a 4x4 pickup and an Airstream trailer and plan to find a RV park near some gold hunting areas. Any advice would be appreciated, after reading through the forums here I realize there's a lot of experience in this group.

I'm in Seattle now and plan to be in Nevada within the next 2 weeks. I've been reading all I can and would appreciate any help from the forum members.
