Wayne, Ray, John and I return to the dry streambed, dig some

material and process it at Ray's house.

Man that intermediate pay layer looks the goods

I once struck just such a layer and all the gold was in a black

charcoal layer, i guess the gold was washed down after a serious

bush fire.
