Rob, Have you run a 3000 with the CT14-inch round mono and had you found nuggets with this combo down to that smaller size above the quarter you displayed in your photo in your answer to AZnuggetBob's question?

Reg and all, I have finally attached the test report that I think Reg is referring too. Click on the link below. http://members.optusnet.com.au/~quarman1/Finders.doc In one of the paragraphs on page 3 of the report an interesting point (How Minelab test their detectors) is made and I have often asked myself the same question. On the Minelab SD-GP Mod forum, where I frequently post, I did pose a similar question but I changed my mind and deleted the post thinking I would not get an answer. However maybe with the large membership and visitors to this forum someone might know of Miinelab's methods used to test and compare before the release of a new model? GaryQ

Oh what a feeling to be in a position as a ML dealer and have access to the latest release of Minelab PI detector to run over their favourite spots. We buyers scrape up enough money to buy the lastest model and hopefully justify our decision with a little extra gold from our favourite spots, only to read about a newer model release that will BEAT what you just agonised over with the thousands of $ outlayed for the best of the best, as your hope sinks once again. If only I had enough money. Gazza.
