What Can You Tell Me About This Coil?

Hey Mike,

That has always been an extremely popular searchcoil back in the day. I found my first big nugget with that coil back in the early 90's on a VLF Minelab. I used it American Gold Striker and XT series. Minelab at some point discontinued the coil and it was very difficult to find one. I found a few many years back in Australia.

Coiltek has now released the 6-inch Goldseeker for the Eureka Gold, which does work in the 60khz setting.

Hope this helps a bit,

Rob Allison

Thanks for the answers. I only have a GB2 and GPX 5000 so I probably won't be using it but at least I know what it works on now. It had me confused.

Rob - It's about time a small coil was available for the eureka. I don't have that much time on eureka's but it always seems a shame to have the 60 kHz setting without a small coil. The bigger coil doesn't utilize it's full potential I imagine.
