Customer purchased for $5995.00 as a Pro-Package. Don't expect to have around long. Just a heads-up! Admin nuggethunting Posted December 7, 2014 Author Admin Report Share Posted December 7, 2014 Hey ahorton10, No, I'm not sure I will ever part with the GPX 5000, but giving someone a chance to get one for a good bargain. After Christmas I will have another Demo model, so I can let mine go this year. I know the initial questions is "are you selling cause the new detector?" The answer is no and this is the reason. I can sit and wait for the new detector, which could be late 2015 before we see anything here in the US, if it comes out. That being said, that is nearly a year worth of nugget shooting for me, which could mean several more pounds of gold nuggets. I have a few demo's, one used model (like new trade-in) and some other items for sale. Too much to list, so if someone is serious about a good PI or even coil/relic detector, give me a call. I'm going to list my CTX 3030 also. Hope this helps a bit,
ahorton10
If I had a few patches lined up I would jump on the used pro pack model. I need to know I'm gonna find decent gold before I can invest much more. It sure is tempting though
Admin nuggethunting Posted December 8, 2014 Author Admin Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 Hey Ahorton10, Yep, it's a great deal, but understand it's an investment and if you're not using it all the time and on the right ground, it could take forever to pay for it (if you do). Detecting in my opinion is mostly a numbers game, the more you do it the better chances you have on the right ground. If a newbie ran around 7 days a week on the right ground, he would eventually start to find just as much gold if not more than an experienced weekend warrior. The newbie at some point would gain knowledge and experience quickly detecting that much and eventually start to pluck a bunch of gold.
