So last week, I went to the Haymarket RMV and applied for a Real ID because my drivers license expires in April 2022. I thought that this would also renew my license. Apparently not because civil id enquiry my Real ID came in the mail today and the expiration date is still April 2022. So yes, I spent $25 on an ID that I’m not really going to use and will expire in two months. So if I renew my license, will it also get the star thingy on it?
