Zippoz Posted April 16, 2007 Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 heres a interesting link http://www.goldmineworld.net/commercial2.htmlinteresting.... but really, that system is made up entirely of parts you can buy at home depot.basically what they are doing is filtering fine sediments from their used water then leeching it.anyone that wants to build one of these can go to home depot, and buy GE whole house water filter housings and filters (those are the same design as what is shown in the link, but with a clear housing) you can also stage the filtering, by using the different filter ratings available, 5 micron 10 micron, 1 micron....to be honest though, you might as well just buy some filter bags from www.grainger.com they will do the same thing, and you can just pour the water through.im somewhat familiar with this whole process because i make bio-diesel and use the exact same filter setups shown in that picture.
