Uncle Ron Posted December 15, 2007 Report Share Posted December 15, 2007 Yo All...Got out today after a sucky work week...Got out into continuing prospecting the Vulture's where I found a nice little wash where the old timers had shoveled overburden up on the benches to get to the bedrock...A little hand stacking and a little more recent header and tailing piles...No sign of beepster...I hooked up my sweet little Nuggetfinder 5x9 mono on my ol' Baboo SD2100 and went to work...After about 100 yards of no targets, I was getting discouraged when I got a sweet soft target up under a gnarly old palo verde growing right out of the bed rock...Yep, down under the root in the bedrock was this little half gram beauty, showing the classic Vulture Mountains hematite...Not big, but it whacked the skunk...Cheers, Yer Unc in the Dubyah Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
