Reno Chris
Looks great - I'll have to check to see how many valid claims are not included.Chris
FrogMick
Looks great - I'll have to check to see how many valid claims are not included.ChrisChris or anyone. I have read several negative comments about Goecommunicator accuracy in the past. How good or bad do you feel it is? Is it worth using without any further research on claim status before going to prospect an area? Thanks.
Reno Chris
Around a year to 18 months ago, it only included about 70 to 75% of the valid claims - so lots of areas shown open actually were not.THings may have improved, but I dont really know. Uncle Ron
Yo All..In some areas that I have personal knowledge of, they have "suddenly" gotten very accurate...They were running about a year behind but within the past 3-4 months seem to have caught up to within a month or two....Just my observation...Cheers, Unc
The Shadow
No idea of how accurate it is with all claims but one I filed only 3 weeks ago on some ground that has never had a claim on it before is now shown on GeoCom.
Dakota Slim
Wow. What an improvement. I would bet that they are more up-to-date than they were previously. There is no reason the info should be outdated with the technology available today.
adam
Yes yours is on there The Shadow, and that was quick too. Look, we all know that the Geo is somewhat behind on claim status information. That is not its only capability for cripes sakes. It is still a good start to any claim research, plus the other dozen things it can do for you. Play around with the program for a while and you will love it. The overlays are awesome now, Patented claims are being updated, some back to 1903 that I have found so far.The Geocommunicator can be used for more than just claim research...Much more!! Have fun with it ..most companies would charge you for this kind of software.
