Nuggetslayer
Here is a instruction video on the GP3000. I thought it was ok but the guy running the detector cracks me up on how fast he swings the coil. I see a lot of guys asking questions on the machines so I help this will help all you guys out.Mastering the Minelab GP-3000
Admin nuggethunting Posted January 21, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Hey Nuggetslayer, Ya, Doug Stone is swinging pretty fast, but he knows what he is listening for. Doug has been prospecting for a long time and runs some very successful Australia Gold Tours that find some great gold in the Outback. Funny, I haven't seen that video in many ... many years. Thanks for posting it.Rob Allison
Hawkeye
Nuggetslayer I have that video also, after watching the videos put out by J.Porter this one puts me to sleep. The 3000 shouldn't be that much more complicated to figure out, just a few more switches to control the coil choice and ground types. You will get they hang of it in no time. Good luck, Wes
Nuggetslayer
Ya I was looking for some pointers but it took me about two minutes to figure out the 3000 after the sd2200. These detectors are pretty easy to figure out there really isn't that much to them once you figure out what makes them tic.
