LuckyLundy Posted February 19, 2009 Report Share Posted February 19, 2009 Well Northern California finally received a bucketfull of rain and about time. We still need 4 more bucket for good measure! Today, I hit and old patch, that I was waiting for a good soaking rain. I'm sure some of you will agree with me that moist soil is great to metal detect. The old patch was alive with deep targets and the 16" round Coiltek had me working up a sweat on this sunny day. Those are some nice chunks. Man it rained pretty good yesterday, melted about a foot of snow at my place, still got about 10 inches. It must have been one sloppy mess out there today. Nice haul I'm having with drawls its been almost a month sense I have swung the coil at all. I'm flying to Vegas this weekend and the next weekend I'll make it out with ya.
