ssvette
I would like to ask a question about Southern California sites to hunt. My brother and I are both new to detecting but we are learning as much as we can on-line before hitting the ground running. We have two detectors on the way due in Monday the 11th and would like to try some places in so cal to practice. Any suggestions? We do have a place in Tehachapi we can use as home base for some Mojave hunting around Randsburg, according to my research might be a place to start? DigDeep
Randsburg is a good place to start. What detectors did you order?
ssvette
Randsburg is a good place to start. What detectors did you order? We started on the cheaper side to get the ball rolling so we got the SCORPION GOLD STINGER with two coils. If anyone has any background with these we could use the feedback. I would like to know what units are beingused in this site if people would like to chime in.......
nvchris
I'd head over to findmall.com and join there Garret users forum. I't a great site for just about every detector used today. Good luck and welcome to a great hobby!nvchris
