nero_design
Feel the coil cable between your thumb and forefinger. If it feels flat, then it's most likely a Double-D. A Monoloop coil cable is usually (always?) round. I had a dealer point this out to me last year when sorting through a bunch of unidentifiable coils... and it made sorting them much easier at a glance. Admin nuggethunting Posted August 9, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted August 9, 2009 Hey Hobby, Like Nero stated, sometimes DD's will have the flatter control cable, but many of the newer ones don't. I think the best bet is to take it in the field and test them. I had to do this to several older coils to find out which one was which. Talk with you later,Rob Allison
Hobby
I checked and the DD cable is a flater cable and Mono is round......Wonder Y thay just don't mark them from the factory....I also tested A DD coil in Mono and only half the coil was working. Little hard to tell but you can.. Hobby
