dave wiseman Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 You just might be above the gold belt...the granite is the hanging wall for the motherlode gold deposits.Perhaps you could get lower down towards Twain Harte,Tuolomne city,Soulsbyville,Sonora areas,if you can find any public ground.
