EvolStevo
Hey guys. My girl and I found this today. It's heavy for its size, it sticks to a magnet and it drives the detector crazy. I thought maybe it was a meteorite but from what I read online it's probably not since it has what appears to me to be quartz on it. Any ideas please let me know. On a side note... Thanks again Rob. We are having a blast digging up tiny rusty bits. The anticipation gets me every time. Thanks. Stevo.

Admin nuggethunting Posted January 7, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 Hey Stevo, Ya, a big chunk of ironstone. That being said, I have found many nuggets in areas that have those type of ironstones around. P.S. Ryan went out on field instructions this weekend. I'm sure you already heard. He got over his first nuggets right at the end of the day.Talk with you later,Rob Allison
