Steve Herschbach
Minelab recently created a division that recognizes mining detectors as an area to themselves due to the worldwide impact of the technology. Google "Minelab Spearheads Revolution in Gold Detection" and check out the mileage they are getting out of it.
Dakota Slim
Thanks for the heads up Steve. Minelab's news release was well thought out and written to highlight how environmental friendly the use of metal detectors is. This is a big issue these days when so many in the media tend to unfairly portray all mining as an environmental disaster.
ARGONAUTE
How many countries have had a minelab contained gold rush now? Quite a few hey, and I still think there are plenty more. How many more big nuggets due to detecting and what proportion due to GPX or CTX. There was a recent multi ouncer in Spain....with a CTX!Thanks Steve. nvchris
A good portion of my sales go to Africa, and far east Russia/Mongolia.Environmental friendly artisan miners products (the gold) is becoming a hot commodity for jewelry and collectors.Folks are wanting to know how and where the gold used in the jewelry they buy comes from, "green gold" is a up and comer.
