goforgold
Well, my beautiful wife gave me a "hall pass" to do a little prospecting this weekend at my favorite Randsburg claim. The weather on Saturday was just right....about 80 degrees with a light wind to keep you cool. What you see is a total of about 7 hours of hard digging. In all 1.65 grams of the good stuff including the 4.01 grain "nugget" you see. Yes, I am going to give myself credit for calling it a nugget..... since they are so damb hard to find
Admin nuggethunting Posted April 2, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted April 2, 2007 Hey Goforgold, Congrats on your gold finds. Yes, I would also consider the 4 grainer a nugget. I call anything about 2-3 grains and up a nugget. Did you recover the gold from a Drywasher, if not, what method was used? Talk to you soon,Rob Allison
Hammer
Goforgold: Nice gold--glad to see some one rewarded for their work and after 7 hour of hard (but fun ) labor you can call any thing you want to-nice little nugget. Thanks for sharing.
goforgold
Rob,Per your question above, I'm using a Golduster drywasher. It is the leaf blower type that's just big enough to keep one man very busy.
