COLORADO BOB
The Quartzsite Metal Detecting Club had its first coin hunt of the season.Weather was great, with a turnout of around eighty people. My finds were good for that much competition. At the end of the day I had the following:ONE DOLLAR COINS------------------29HALF DOLLARS------------------------14QUARTERS-----------------------------34DIMES----------------------------------71NICKELS-------------------------------34THREE TOKENS for three silver rounds.ONE TOKEN for a small gold nugget, just over 1/2 gram.A lot of fun was had by all.Bob T. pondmn
Bob you must feel like the fox in the hen house, or like John B at Laughlin. You rotten old man taking candy away from babies. Couldn't you have left some coins and tokens for the other detectorist's. Glad to see you cleaned up. How did your wife do? Or are you deliberately leaving her out because she beat you in total goodies. Looks like your totals are much better than Laughlin AMDA hunt. Maybe I better come down there to give you some competition. If you did that well at gold nugget shooting you could retire in Quartzite. Ridge Runner
Bob if you keep this up people see you show up and they will drop out plus want their money back.Did you leave anything for everyboudy else to find? You had to be the number one finder at the coin shoot. That's the way it is some got it and some got to go get it. You didn't say how much you charge for lessons.Happy Hunting!
