TXKajun
After over 2 years of detecting with my Ace 250, I finally stumbled across my first gold ring on Sunday. A buddy and I were hunting school playgrounds and doing pretty good coin-wise. Then we started finding a ring here and a ring there. Total was about $8 in coins and 5 rings. He found a sweet little silver/turquoise ring and I snagged a little kid's 10k gold ring with a little CZ stone. I found a .925 silver ring quite a while back and have been waiting and working towards the gold. Now, if I can just get out and swing my Eureka Gold beeper over a nugget or 3!!KajunP.S.I found 3 rings, he found 2.

Ridge Runner
Hi TXkajun Great find you just keep it up and next time you'll be posting a ring with some big rocks in it. I don't know if you ever done this if you can get some 10,14 k gold rings and you will see that they don't all read the same. I found more rings when the detector detected every thing metal and you had to dig it all. Chuck Anders
TXKajun
Thanks for the comments. I usually detect in Jewelry mode....that hits everything except iron. I dig bunches of pop tops, pull tabs and foil. I just know that $12K ring is still out there waiting for me to find it! LOLKajun
