adam Posted April 20, 2008 Report Share Posted April 20, 2008 A push is when a bulldozer or the like, is used to remove layers of overburden to reach deeper (hopefully more productive gold bearing) ground.The Roadrunners had some pushes or comercial digs today south of Stanton...I hope they did well. Some pushes turn out better than others, obviously, but there have been many many nuggets found on the 24K pushes in the last couple years including nuggets over an ounce. Bandana Don Posted April 20, 2008 Report Share Posted April 20, 2008 Morning Adam: The Roadrunner Prospectors Club does not have "commercial digs" -- there were no pushes yesterday just holes dug with a backhoe. Members searched the piles of dirt and then the dozer returned the dirt to fill the holes. What gold the members found was theirs to keep.
