Don't want to get the SS on me or anything but I have an intuitive feeling not everyone's going to sit idly and let obama make all the CHANGES he plans on making.........

I am not proposing nor am I condoning any harm on anyone in that statement nor do I know of any such plans, thank you.

Vini,

I only got one phone call to go vote, I unpluged my answering maching and I try not to answer my home phone. Anything important comes in to my cell phone.

Eveyone who has posted on this thread is full of energy and worried

about the future. What will be will be... we cannot change the past, and must

accept the present as we cannot change it, as much as we wish.

Change is enevitable. The highest mountains will eventually wear down to base

level... We will likely have another ice age... Much more, change is relentless.

The elections will be over and then will be back to gold mining.

I really know everyone (all!) can forget the stuff they said in the intense spirit

of the moment; and now back to "prospecting and mining."

I'm betting we all will... we have a common bond... the love of freedom and being

all that we can be.... to always try to respect others, and that others also respect us.

And to always try to keep cool and if possible go out prospecting and mining to

relieve out tensions and stress. If we cannot go out, then to just sit back with a

cuppa coffee and read some article or even the instruction manual of some

equipment.

Now looking ahead; but it is just a plan... a hope... a goal. I would like to meet as

many of you as are at the GPAA gold show in January 2009.

Hopefully I will be there... a booth... with Jim Klein... an old friend of many years...

We have nothing to sell... Our knowledge... but some of it, speaking for me only,

is getting dim... But our friendship is true and strong...

We are just spokes in a big wheel; but we are spokes that are seasoned, strong and

true; doing our best to keep the big wheel running down the path.

Would it be all right if I say(?): "Keep The Faith and God Bless All."

Jim "tailgate" Straight.

Hi Doc and Den,

My wife is S. Korean and shares the same fear of socialism as Den's wife does. I subscribe to most of the Korean channels on Dish Network to follow up on there news as well as ours. Let me tell you, there is a lot of fear with the S. Koreans of the possibilities of pulling our troups out with this next Presidency. That leaves N. Korea as a threat to them if we do so. My wife had a very difficult childhood 45 years ago growing up in an orphanage when communism was more pronounced then. She was rapped by one of her own teachers in school. She was thrown off a bus with her sister by her own father at the age of 8 because they were girls, and could not carry the family for financial support some day. Normally the boys in a family carry the family through and carry a higher value. She has never seen her father to this day since that day being thrown off the bus. My poor mother inlaw with leper se could not raise the children, so they ended up in the orphanage. My wife was fortunate to be adopted by a American family. She has known hardship that some will never comprehend, yet she understands there is a God that cares deeply. She says America is blessed because our acknowledgements to this God from our past. America retaining the acknowlegements, and obedience to this God was her biggest fear, more than our elected President. I asked her what was the most important critera to vote for in this election, and she said I voted for God first, and not myself. This is the beginning of all wisdom, and understanding. America has truely been the guiding light to all countries to follow. S. Korea is one of them. I thought this was a simple, but true saying my wife quoted to me one time. She says if you take 6 Japanese and put them together, they build electronic shop. If you take 6 chinese men, and put them together, they build restraunt. If you take 6 Korean men, and put them together, they build church. That is so true to this day. Ever block, and small town I went to, I witnessed the church on just about ever corner. Thanks to America, we could have not done this without a guiding torch from above.
