The biggest difference between the 3000 and 3500 is the Quick Trak button (which you can buy an aftermarket kit for) and the three speed option for the ground balance of which the Medium one is the best, without the Medium speed I would advise all 3000 users to used fixed GB where ever possible. Probably the biggest after market performance mod I have seen on any detector is a booster speaker combo along with a good selection of various coil sizes. I was looking for any new performance enhancing mods that are now available. seems these guys really know there stuff,very fascinating.
