The 5000 is one mean machine, only used it so far on pasture and got 14 roman bronze coins at depths to 18 + inches and only dug one piece of iron, easy to get used to, cant wait to try for the Nevada gold at the end of the month

Yesterday i picked up my 5000 from Rob with a bunch of accessories - I'm talkin a whole Diaper Bag full!

Took it to Rose Creek (below Sam's Club) despite being warned of all the junk.

I dug up a nail and a staple and realized I should have used my test gold piece to hear the proper signal first.

There's a lot of interference in that area by the road also, but I got to play with some settings and will review the manual each time until I start finding those nugs.

Then I'll take advantage of the one-on-one training Rob offers with each detector.
