bullseye Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 I plan to drive through Canada to detect for nuggets in Alaska. If I do find gold nuggets in Alaska and come back to USA through Canada, will I have to pay a Canadian tax on those gold nuggets? If I do, what would the tax amount be?Thanks, Elmer
seeker Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 No Taxes on your Alaskan gold but driving thru Canada you will pay..........Geo
grubstake Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 And what ever you do, don't take guns through Canada, Not allowed, and you'll be in jail, Your better off to have guns shipped up to a gun dealer, from agun dealer. And Ship your gold back too. I used to go to Canada, about once a month, driving longhaul truck, I always had tpleave my gun, at a brokers officeon the American side, and pick it up coming back. fredm Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 It would be best to check with Canadian Customs...and get the facts...fred
