Admin nuggethunting Posted July 12, 2012 Admin Report Posted July 12, 2012 Hello All,In this video I discovered this small gold nuggets, around 1/4 Dwt in size. The gold nugget was found in a small drainage bleeding off a ridge. As you might notice, the gravel is fairly shallow, so sniping gold nuggets from these area can be easy if the gold is there. After the discovery of this small nugget, I found three more around the same size in a straight line up the hillside. About 100 yards up from the discovery of these nuggets, I found a large shelf area, which could be a patch. Excited to get back out there and see where the gold is coming from and if the flat area might be holding the best nuggets.I was using a Minelab GPX 5000 metal detector and Nugget Finder 14-inch Elliptical EMZ Searchcoil. I mentioned in the video the coil was a RMZ, but it's elliptical so it's the new EMZ that is solid on top and bottom. Hope you enjoyed the video.Rob Allison
