Weatherman said it was gonna be under 100° today, so I went out and tried my luck. Got two little nugs, but the ground was so hard I didn't last very long. Low and slow was the key today, both nugs were just a break in threshold. We need rain!

Nice...................... :)

That one is a fat little flat guy. But hey, whose complaining!

Glad you got some gold for the effort. :)

What was the weight of them? 1.5 grams?

Gonna go out on Sun. and see what Dad and I can skeer up.

Place were going is kind of hot so I get a lot of breaks in the threshhold....I know there are more little guys in there but its a tough spot to listen through.

Will start out with a DD and then do some patch hunting with the 24x14 mono.

GL to you in the future.

Yep, Jeff stopped bye to show me his blisters on his hands, from his pick! Late October, we can expect rain...stick to the high country. Give me a week or more and I'll be healed up...I hope!

Hey Nuggetslayer

Nice gold you found. big or small I love the color of that Cali gold. sounds like you earned them, are you diggin cemented gravel or clay? just wondering. well we got more monsoons headed up that direction maybe youll get some rain out of them to soften that ground and put a damper on the fires. Take care up there AzNuggetBob
