oldies1955
Hey all:Got out with dad today for about 5 hrs.Hit a old spot that had some tribs running into it that we have not hit very hard in the past. Managed to pull this little guy (.7 gram) from 6 inches.I wasn't even sure it was a good signal as there is a lot of hot bedrock in the area. After pushing it around and trying to pinpoint with the 9x14 elip. I got the GB2 mini out and zip zip....got it right away.I sure like carrying that thing with me It was a bit soupy out there today with some really good EMI lightning spikes.Got caught in the rain twice. Took the snake gators off to cover the detectors and then stood in the rainlike a little kid. Was kind of funny and fun Desert trees DO NOT offer much protection.Trash to gold ratio....1:1..AWSOME!Great cool day out and the good Lord blessed us with a nug.Didn't come home smelling like a wet skunk..just a wet Tom Tom H. Buckeye Boy
Nice nug placement. That would be a very strong horse. AJ
Admin nuggethunting Posted October 19, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted October 19, 2015 Hey Tom, Well the weather is starting to get nice. The "Owl" got blown out and is showing golden color (hear-say). Congrats on the find. All gold is good, little ones can lead you to many more nuggets (or more friends).
