The original version, which is still offered while inventory last, had 2 searchcoils included. This new Gold Monster 1000 offered at a lower MAP Price of $799 will only have the 5" Round Searchcoil and 2 batteries. This is a great deal and most were probably only using the 5" coil for small gold, bedrock hunting, mine dumps and such. Ridge Runner Posted 2 hours ago Report Share Posted 2 hours ago That small coil is what you’re going to need out there nugget hunting but remember if you are a vet don’t forget to ask for your 15 % that Minelab offers you for being one. Just have that paper ready to show proof that you are. I don’t know if you know Chris Ralph but he makes some great videos on the Gold Monster 1000 that will speed up your learning of this detector. Chris makes a lot of videos on a number of detectors that’s out there. The best thing you can do for yourself is always buy from a dealer like Rob because if you need help he’s just a phone call are text away. I know because I’ve been there.
