Hammer
Cabela's is now selling Minelabs. Who will be next?Doubt they will be a real threat to gold prospecting with the line they carrying, would not want to count on them for lessons with a GPX 4000, still it is something to think about. RTP
You would probably get the same kind of hands on lessons that Kellyco gives (none).
Admin nuggethunting Posted September 18, 2007 Admin Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 Hello Rick, I seen this coming, but found out they are just carrying the X-Terra series. From what I'm told, they will not be carry the gold prospecting detectors like the SD series and GPX. Thanks for the update,Rob Allison
Ridge Runner
I knew that they had been selling Bounty Hunter and so is Bass Pro Shop. They sell Bounty Hunter at Wal-Mart,Academy and any other place they think it will sell,so now I guess we'll be seeing Minelab coin detector. I know Whites did the same at one time but I haven't seen any out in a long time. I see it now that one of the workers at Cabela's will take the first time user out to show you all about this detector as they shove you out the door with it. I think it may work for us that been using detectors for a long time but even if I got my wife thinking that I know everything I don't. When I call a dealer to ask a question he will say I don't remember you maybe it's best to talk to the dealer you got it from. Now Cabela will say we just sell them but we don't know nothing about them. This may over dramatizing the story but it gets very personal if it happens to you.
