Ridge Runner
Gary I'm sorry for your great loss but nothing can take away the good memory you have of her for things past. The good ones that have to leave us don't have to wait for the next connection because a angel comes down direct and takes them home. God Bless!Chuck Anders
grubstake
Yup, your right Chuck, she went the way she wanted too, I'm going the same way when I go. No tubes, no ressesatation, no life supprt, Already have it in writing, going to be creamated, so it doen't cost so much. I'll get to the same place. It does say, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. I may have my ashes placed at the Calif. vertrans cemetary in los Banos. or maybe put in the Merced river, I have some good memories of that place. And it a lot cheaper than a plot in a grave yard somewhere. Grubstake

grubstake
You know from the time we born into this world, we start to die, its not how rich you are, or who you are by wich God judges us, its what you have done for your friends, and fellow man, and you beliefe in god that he is our salvation and can forgive you of anything if you ask him. Thats what keeps me no being afraid to go> I'm ready. Grubstake

grubstake
Yeh, I'm leaving at 5 am eberyone will meet at her house, then at 1 pm drive to the cemitary, have service, and then my wife and I will leave, so I can get home before dark, I don't see to good after dark, Then my brother will be cremated prob. Friday, and his ashes spread, then next week a memorial service for him. My brother was 57 he would have been 58 on Oct. 17th. Alcohol and drugs took there toll on him, he has been sick for along time, I guess he has done every drug there was to do in his life, and stayed drunk most of his life, His son and daughter are both in jail for drugs, I was in Nam when it all started, my mother found him and my other brother in the closet sniffing glue, and he has gone down hill from there. I tried to help him get clean serveral times, but it never took. We talked a few times by phone in the past 10 years, but I have not seen him inperson for over 20 years.
